Recycled cones 100%
100% of the cones used in the production of threads and yarns are made from recycled material, ensuring the protection of the environment through reuse. In addition, we reuse several tons of cardboard per month and waste film, plastic and dye tubes annually.
Water reuse
Currently, BONFIO also count with the reuse of cooling water from the dyeing processes. At the same time, we started a project that aims at the reuse of effluents, guaranteeing and reusing a good part of all the water used in the process.
Conscious consumption
Applied to a working method fully adapted to the reduction of reprocessing, the company guarantees a low consumption of electrical energy. In addition, we use high-performance engines and are constantly improving and modernizing our facilities to contribute to a more conscious and circular chain.
Suppliers with sustainable potential
BONFIO seeks to unite suppliers that also provide excellent quality materials and that have the same concern for the preservation of the environment. We seek to develop with them fully sustainable projects that help us reduce our ecological footprint.
An example is the process of producing steam from boilers using biomass, which uses eucalyptus chips from reforested wood. Thus ensuring the maximum reduction in the emission of greenhouse gases.
